WHAT DATA DO WE COLLECT?

The Organizers collect the following data :

  • Name
  • Nationality
  • Professional phone number
  • Professional email
  • Current company

HOW DO WE COLLECT YOUR DATA?

You directly provide the Organizers with most of the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:

  • Register online or place an order for any of our products or services
  • Voluntarily complete a customer survey, participate in a study, take part in an interview or provide feedback on any of our message boards or via email.
  • Use or view our website via your browser’s cookies.
  • Apply to one of our programs or challenges

HOW WILL WE USE YOUR DATA?

The purpose of the collection and processing of such personal data is to (i) allow the administration of the Challenge (identify contact persons), (ii) the Organizers to respectively perform the Preliminary Check (Project to be supported by at least two individuals at least 18 year old) and the final selection of Winners, as well as communicate publicly on the results of the Challenge.


The Organizers will not share your data with our partner companies unless you express your interest in their products and services or you wish to use our networking services in which case the data will be shared for networking purposes only.


The legal basis for the collection and processing of such personal data lies in the consent obtained by the Organizers from each applicant (acting on behalf of each individual whose personal data are at stake) to the collection and use of these personal data in accordance with the Terms & Conditions.

HOW DO WE STORE YOUR DATA?

The Organizers securely store your data on its Google servers with a privacy setting that prevents non-authorized individuals from accessing it.

Following GDPR guidelines, if you stay inactive in our community, the Organizers will keep your personal identification data for a period of up to 36 months. Once this time period has expired, we will delete your data by erasing it from our record unless you give instructions to the contrary.

WHAT ARE YOUR DATA PROTECTION RIGHTS?

The Organizers would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following :

  • The right to access – You have the right to request the Organizers for copies of your personal data. We may charge you a small fee for this service.
  • The right to rectification – You have the right to request that the Organizers correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request the Organizers to complete information you believe is incomplete.
  • The right to erasure – You have the right to request that the Organizers erase your personal data, under certain conditions.
  • The right to restrict processing – You have the right to request that the Organizers restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
  • The right to object processing – You have the right to object to the Organizers’ processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
  • The right to data portability – You have the right to request that the Organizers transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions.
